Figuring Out Businesses
Lifestyle Entrepreneurs: Managing Time Lots of individuals make a big mistake: they keep an action list. It typically contains entries from top to bottom about contacting people, documents filing, faxes sending, setting up appointments. And at the day’s, most of the actions have been done and people feel good. Nothing is wrong with keeping track of progress and activities, but you may not be able to achieve the successes if this is done outside the scope of your individual goals. What is wrong here? Any action list without proper priorities or categories may give you a temporary ‘kick’ when crossing off items, but it will not help you to reach your goals. The many mixed activities leads into a behavioral pattern that focuses on the tasks that are easy or on tasks which are just urgent but not necessarily important.
5 Uses For Businesses
Lifestyle Entrepreneurs are very careful about their time. They know that working on their goals is the most important task even if it means postponing a visit to some friend. They will never allow tasks that are urgent to take control above their day. They manage the urgent tasks popping up by properly planning in advance.

For a practical approach to getting back on track, structure your activities into three different divisions. Planning Division It includes everything that’s so important but not urgent. These are those things that when you do them they’ll contribute to reaching your objectives in the longer run. For instance, working on your own long-term strategy will help you generate future income. Visualization and meditation of goals are also activities in this zone. Successful people spend the majority of their time here, some people even up to 80% of their time. Production It includes everything that’s urgent and important. Typically, these are the activities you happen to be doing to generate income with your business. Example: getting back at a prospect that has responded to your ad or website positively. Ensure that parts of your daily activities are in this zone as this is the spot where the money is made. If you are trained up and already set up, spend at least 40% to 60% of your time here. Waste Division It includes everything which is not urgent and not important. All these are mainly the fun and social activities. Interestingly enough, this is where quite a number of people that are not getting any results spend most of their time. Their action lists are full of activities in this area. So be careful here and spend time that is if you can only afford it. I suggest maximum 10 percent of your time.
