‘Rumpelstiltskin, Private Eye’

Willmar, Oct. 27-28, 7 p.m., Barn Theatre; the Hayloft Players Children’s Theatre presents “Rumpelstiltsklin, Private Eye.” Directed by Bailey Stahl and Cole Toltjer, the play features actors in grades 1-9. Tickets are $12 for adults and $7 for students.

‘Chitty Chitty Bang Bang’

Grove City, Oct. 27-28, 7 p.m., Oct. 29, 5 p.m., ACGC High School Theatre; ACGC presents “Chitty Chitty Bang Bang,” a musical adventure based on the 1968 film by the same name, which in turn was based on Ian Fleming’s children’s book. Tickets are $6 for adults, $2 for students and seniors, and $10 for a family.

Morris, Oct. 28, 7:30 p.m., Edson Auditorium; the University of Minnesota-Morris presents Los Angeles trio Tres Souls, reliving the vintage sounds and songs of the 1940s-1960s stylized during the Golden Era of Mexican Cinema.
