Honda launches Elevate SUV, TVS Motor rolls out Apache RTR 310 bike and more

The automobile industry saw some exciting launches this week with many top automakers launching their latest cars and bikes. From Honda introducing its Elevate SUV to Volvo launching its C40, the industry saw some much-awaited new car launches by many top brands.

Here are some of the cars and bikes that were launched this week:


Honda Launches Elevate SUV in India

Honda Cars India introduced a mid-size sports utility vehicle (SUV), the Honda Elevate, in India on Monday, September 4. The base model, SV MT, costs Rs 10.99 lakh, while the top-spec ZX CVT variant costs Rs 15.99 lakh. The Elevate gets the same 121hp, 145Nm 1.5-litre four-cylinder petrol engine with power sent to the front wheels via a 6-speed manual or 7-step CVT automatic gearbox.

The TVS Apache RTR 310 has been officially launched in India by TVS Motor Company. It comes with features like a split LED headlamp configuration, a flat handlebar with an attractive gold finish, and a sleek yet muscular fuel tank design. The highly-anticipated bike can be pre-booked for Rs 3,100. The bike is available at a starting price of Rs 2.42 lakh.

Volvo C40 launched at Rs 61.25 lakh

Volvo has launched the C40 Recharge, which is its first all-electric vehicle (EV) in India. The C40 Recharge is Volvo’s second EV in India, following the debut of the XC40 Recharge SUV last year. The new coupe SUV starts at an introductory price of Rs 61.25 lakh. The C40 Recharge comes with a sloping roofline and a two-part spoiler. It also has Pixel LED headlights and split LED tail lights.

Tata Motors begins bookings for Nexon facelift

Tata Motors has started accepting bookings for the facelift version of the Nexon. The Nexon’s facelift versions have a larger 10.25-inch touchscreen as well as a revised two-spoke steering wheel. The design is influenced by the Curvv and Harrier EV ideas. A split-headlamp configuration with sequential LED DRL signatures will also be available on the facelift model. The price will be unveiled on September 14.

Jawa 42 Bobber Black Mirror

Jawa Motorcycles has recently unveiled the Black Mirror version. It has a chrome fuel tank that adds to the motorcycle’s appearance. In addition, the 42 Bobber now has dual-tone alloy wheels with tubeless tyres as well. This top-of-the-line variant of the 42 Bobber costs Rs 2.25 lakh ex-showroom.
