Street dance in Downtown Helena
The first Last Chance Street Dance is happening Thursday, July 11, from 5:30-10 p.m. in the heart of downtown at the intersection of Last Chance Gulch and Lawrence Street.
Under the Bleachers and Ten Years Gone will perform. The event will have food and dessert trucks, art vendors, balloon tying, axe throwing and beer gardens.
Hosted by The Gold Bar, Helena BID, Gulch Distillers and Old-Salt Co-Op.
Band concerts in Memorial Park
The State Capital Band will perform another of their concerts in the summer series at Memorial Park on Thursday, July 11, from 8-9 p.m.
The band is one of the longest continually performing bands in the country and will be conducted by Robert Loveridge.

A variety of music including marches, classical wind ensemble pieces, Broadway and movie tunes will be presented. Bring your lawn chairs or blankets and enjoy an evening of music with friends and family. Then vote for your favorite.
Bradshaw to perform at Tap Room
Singer/songwriter Pony Bradshaw will perform on Saturday, July 13, at the Lewis & Clark Taproom, 1535 Dodge Ave.
Bradshaw’s forthcoming album, “Thus Spoke the Fool,” will be released Aug. 16.
Jazz in the Woods is Sunday
The Wilbur Rehmann Quintet, Fred Cobb, piano; Todd Silas, bass; Jeremy Slead and Carter Slead, Drums, along with guest vocalist Sarah Elkins, will be playing at the Forest Service Moose Creek Cabin.
The Jazz in the Woods annual concert starts at 6 p.m. on Sunday, July 14, is sponsored by the Montana Discovery Foundation and is free and open to the public.
Bring a lawn chair or a blanket and enjoy jazz music. Location is 4 miles up Rimini Road.
Alive at Five at Ten Mile Brewery
The free summer concert series Alive at Five continues from 5-9 p.m. on Wednesday, July 17, at Ten Mile Creek Brewery on the north Downtown Walking Mall.
The five-piece (sometimes eight-piece) indie pop cover band Goldy Vox will provide the music.

Artist Amplified with Bray summer residents
The Archie Bray’s Frances Senska Center for Education and Engagement will host a lively and informative event featuring our summer residents on Thursday, July 11, at 6:30 p.m.
Attendees can meet the residents and view their artwork via slides.
The Artist Amplified lecture and demonstration series offers a platform for artists and art enthusiasts to explore history, process and conceptual motivations through various presentation formats.

Archie Bray online auction starts soon
The Bray’s 28th annual Benefit Auction is coming up on Friday, July 19, offering an opportunity to bid on more than 100 works of art.
Bidding opens at 8 a.m. (MDT) online at givergy.us/2024brayauction.
All the auction pieces will be on display at the Bray North Gallery until the bidding closes.
The gallery is open Tuesday through Friday from 11 a.m. to 5 p.m., and Saturday from noon to 4 p.m.

Archie’s Avant Garden Party fundraiser upcoming
Experience Archie’s Avant-Garden Party, The Bray’s all-new fundraiser and ticketed reception for the 28th Annual Bray Benefit Auction.
Join us Thursday, July 18, from 6-10 p.m. on campus at 2915 Country Club Ave. for “Moon Garden: Shimmer and Shine.”
Dress in sparkling attire, fancy floral prints, cocktail casual in silvers, grays and blacks, or go all out with a creative twist.
Start the evening by enjoying the 2024 annual Bray Benefit Auction artwork in our Bray Gallery: North, with food and drinks. We’ll honor this year’s Meloy Stevenson Award of Distinction recipients, and raise funds for this year’s Fund-a-Need, which will support grounds maintenance and beautification.
We’ll end the night by dancing outdoors under Montana’s beautiful night sky.

Bray & Brews Clay Community Gathering
Join us for Bray & Brews, a welcoming gathering for the entire clay community, on Friday, July 19, from 4-8 p.m. at Blackfoot River Brewing Co., 66 S. Park Ave.
This event brings together Montana Clay Tour artists, local art center artists and patrons, Bray board members, current and former resident artists, and community students.
Enjoy a laid-back evening of mingling with fellow clay aficionados before the Montana Clay Tour kicks off on Saturday morning.
